Threading of the machine. When the tension disc is not being threaded the machine more likely skips a stitch or won’t make a stitch at all. Follow the instructions or watch a video how to thread the EuroSew NP-7A (or any NP-7A portable Bag Closer)
Wrong Needle placement: Most common isseu after changing the needle. The needle is put in the wrong direction in the machine and the stitch won’t be made or skipped at all. The needle gets ver warm due to Friction hitting the looper. The needle has a Scarf. The scarf needs to be pointed upwards.
Motor dispositioned after adrop or a push. The machine wont sew and it makes a high Pitch Sound. The motor has been moved forward by a drop or a push against the motor. Now the rubber timing belt has no tension anymore and the pulleys do not rotate. Loosening the screws and put it back into it’s original position wil solve this isseu.
The needle breaks all the time. When you sew the material has to be transported by the machine itself. Pulling the machine harder then it sews the material bends and eventually breaks the needle in the machine. Solution: Let the machine transport the material by itself.
Thread tension of the thread: Too much tension and it wil pull through the bag or won’t make the stitch. Too Lose and the stitch wont close the bag or loose the stich. Thread tension needs to be adjusted. Change the thread tension little by little by trail and error to find the right tension for the (bag) material you are Sewing.
